Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 10/07/2026
These terms apply whenever you use humberhoney.co.uk or place an order with us. By using the site or buying from us, you're agreeing to them.
Who we are
Humber Honey is run by Martyn Ramsden and Agnieszka Szemplinska, 49 Tranby Avenue, Hessle, HU13 0PS.
To contact us, please complete the form on our Contact page.
Our products
We produce honey from our own hives across the Humber region, along with candles and other bee related products. Because honey is a natural product, colour, texture, and flavour will vary between batches and seasons. Photos on the site are a genuine representation of our products but small variations should be expected.
Honey should not be given to infants under 12 months old due to a small risk of infant botulism. This applies to all honey, not just ours, and is standard UK health guidance.
Placing an order
When you place an order, you'll receive an email confirming that we've received it. That confirmation isn't an acceptance of your order, just an acknowledgement. Your order is accepted and a contract is formed when we dispatch the goods to you. In rare circumstances, we may need to let you know that an item you've ordered is out of stock. If this happens, we will try to offer a suitable alternative.
Prices and payment
All prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable. Delivery costs are shown separately at checkout before you pay. We take reasonable care to make sure prices on the site are correct, but if we discover a pricing error after you've ordered, we'll contact you before dispatching, and you can choose to proceed at the correct price or cancel your order.
Payment is taken at the point of order through our website's payment processor. We don't store your card details ourselves.
Your rights as a consumer
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Full detail on cancelling an order and our returns process can be found on our Delivery & Returns page.
Our liability
We take care to make sure our products are accurately described and safely produced. If something goes wrong and it's our fault, we'll put it right. We can't be held responsible for losses that weren't a foreseeable result of our mistake, such as loss of business income. Nothing here affects your legal rights as a consumer, including your rights if a product is faulty.
Intellectual property
The text, photos, and branding on this site belong to Humber Honey and shouldn't be copied or reused without our permission.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
Getting in touch
If anything on these terms is unclear, or you'd like to raise a complaint, please use the form on our Contact page and we'll get back to you.
